LAS VEGAS POOL PARTIES REOPENING (DON'T GET TO EXCITED)...
Pool parties are one of the things we love most about Las Vegas. If you want to dance and drink under the desert sun with top DJs cranking out high-energy music by the water, these daytime celebrations are right up your alley. However, the COVID-19 pandemic delayed the arrival of pool parties this year, and they may not look the same for quite a while.
As Las Vegas reopens after a business shutdown that lasted more than two months, hotel pools are beginning to welcome guests. However, dayclubs and pool parties are being rolled out cautiously. EBC (Encore Beach Club) at the Wynn and Marquee Dayclub at Cosmopolitan is opening with limited capacity and table reservation requirements. You’ll still be able to order bottle service and dance, but music will be played over the sound system. Big-name DJs aren’t expected to perform anytime soon. Influence at The LINQ, which is more reserved than other pool parties, is also open.
Health experts believe the coronavirus doesn’t spread by the water in swimming pools, which is a positive sign as reopenings continue. So study up on the following pool parties and follow Lavish Vegas for the latest information and the best deals on tickets.

In terms of size and energy, it's hard to beat Wet Republic at the MGM Grand. If you can bear the long lines to get in and the TSA-style security check, you'll enjoy a wild atmosphere with champagne showers, beautiful model-like servers, and a rowdy party crowd. The entertainment doesn't get much bigger or better with Calvin Harris, Tiesto, Steve Aoki, and Kaskade among the headliners. A whopping 53,000 square feet in size, Wet Republic boasts the two largest salt water pools on the Strip and is surrounded by 18 daybeds, 10 cabanas, and six bungalows. If you need to recover from the chaos, take a ride on the lazy river next store at the hotel pool complex.

By night, Marquee is one of the hottest nightclubs on the Strip. By day, Marquee Dayclub offers something for everyone. The weekend pool parties are high-energy affairs with bikini beauties lounging near private dipping pools in front of the cabanas. The DJs aren't as "big name" as those you'll find at some of the other clubs, but they definitely keep the party on track. Come by during the week, Monday-Thursday, and the scene is far less chaotic. The entry fee is waived and you can lounge by the pool while enjoying pizzas, sushi, and other bites from the menu. You might even be allowed to hang in an empty cabana without booking one - but don't quote us on that. When winter comes around, the "Marquee Dome" is erected to keep the party going regardless of cold temperatures. No matter when you're here, the most luxurious way to enjoy Marquee Dayclub is by booking one of the three-story bungalows, which come their own private party decks overlooking the pool. Think of them as a vacation home and cabana rolled up in one.

An extension of Tao nightclub, Tao Beach is a poolside oasis that's kept private, exclusive, and separate from the rest of sprawling pool complex at the Venetian & Palazzo resorts. Tao Beach makes the most of its Asian theme, with stylish decor and menu bites that include sushi, edamame, and Korean-style chicken wings. The pool is surrounded by 12 luxury cabanas, decked out to the fullest with air conditioning, HD plasma televisions, Xbox systems, custom mini-fridges, towels, and terry cloth robes. Poolside massages and other treatments are available from the team at nearby Canyon Ranch SpaClub. Even some of the daybeds have their own personal mini fridges. Ladies are welcome to show a little skin Monday-Wednesday when topless European-style sunbathing is permitted. On Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights, Tao Beach is a popular spot for world famous DJs, floating Chinese lanterns, light displays, and four 14-foot-tall fire columns.
