The Las Vegas Monorail is one of the best options to connect to all the great hotels, restaurants, and shopping along the Vegas strip. Other Important information you need to know about the Las Vegas Monorail

 Las Vegas Monorail rides are free for children 5 and under.

  •  If you don't get to use your ticket before it's time for you to leave Vegas, relax. Tickets are good for one year from the time of purchase so you can use it on your next trip. That is if you plan to return before the ticket expires.
  •  Unlimited-Ride Passes must also be used within the 12 month period. Once the pass is initiated at the fare gates, it will expire in 24 hours or 72, 96, 120 or 168 hours. Your ticket will be stamped with expiration date and time upon first use.
  •  Handle your Las Vegas Monorail tickets with care. Folded, bent or damaged tickets will not work in the fare gates and you will not get a refund.

You can purchase your tickets online or at the station property locations from the ticket vending machines. Online fares and station ticket prices may vary.

Las Vegas Monorail Scan and Go!

  • Monorail Ticket Scan and GoScan and Go! allows riders to pull up their mobile tickets purchased online and scan the barcode at the Monorail fare gate. With Scan and Go there's no longer a need to print tickets, fuss with or redeem confirmations.
  •  Once you have purchased your Las Vegas Monorail passes online, you will receive an email that includes your mobile ticket.
  •  At the Monorail Station, to enter the fare gates, simply hold your barcode up to the scanner located in the center of the faregate. The machine will read and recognize your tickets and the fare gates will open.
  •  Scan and Go! is available at all Las Vegas Monorail Stations

Monorail Nevada Resident Discount $1 Tickets

Monorail Ticket Machine

The Las Vegas Monorail offers discount tickets for Nevada residents. These tickets are available at all Monorail customer service booths upon presentation of your valid Nevada driver's license, State of Nevada government-issued identification card or Nevada Sheriff's Card. Fare is $1 per ride. Maximum purchase: two (2) single ride tickets per person per day.

    • Las Vegas Monorail Ticket Bally's/Paris Station:  10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily
    • Flamingo/Caesars Palace Station:  10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily

    • Westgate Las Vegas Station:  10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily
    • SAHARA Las Vegas Station:  10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily

Monorail Booth Locations and hours:

  • MGM Grand - Location: at the Monorail station entrances inside The Underground and The District:  9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday through Thursday; 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday
  • Westgate Las Vegas - Location: in the hotel lobby next to the bell desk:  9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday through Thursday; 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Las Vegas Monorail Accessibility

The Las Vegas Monorail system is completely ADA compliant and wheelchair accessible. Wheelchairs, mobility scooters, and motorized scooters that assist those with a disability are permitted on the Monorail.

All Monorail Stations have accessible elevator service to all levels. There is also level boarding from the platform to all trains and all Monorail cars have space to accommodate mobility vehicles.
